And that decision backfired in the most spectacular fashion imaginable. The set piece was cleared out to Moritz Stoppelkamp, who received the ball on his chest, turned and blasted it towards the opposite goal on the half-volley from just outside his OWN penalty area. After a couple of bounces, it went over the line and sealed the win in truly unbelievable fashion - a goal that, according to our colleagues on the continent, has now been measured at 83 metres, or 90 yards..........Longest goal from a out field player I have ever seen .
