The incident took place in a fifth tier match in the Netherlands between the exotically-named Leeuwarder Zwaluwen and VVI (which is surely noteworthy in itself, given that it must surely represent the greatest disaparity in team name lengths ever seen in football). With Zwaluwen leading 7-2, their star player Vic Rozendaal decided to have a bit of fun to really rub a bit of extra salt into the wound.
